2.2.18. addCalculation


Add column(s) with derived values according to user defined arithmetic operation between column(s) in each row of an ASCII table.

Operates on given file(s) or STDIN right STDOUT.



> addCalculation options [file(s)]



--label / -l string
(list of) column headings to add to or modify in the ASCII table. Separate multiple headings by comma: first,second,third,...
--formula / -f string
(corresponding list of) formulas to calculate values in specified columns. Refer to existing column headings by #NameOfColumn#. Internally provided columns are: #_row_#. Separate multiple formulas by comma: first,second,third,...
--condition / -c string
conditional expression to filter rows (affects only calculations in existing columns, not new ones)



  • distance between origin and node coordinates
    --label 'nodeDistance' --formula 'np.linalg.norm( #node# )'
